Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 / M-Th (in office) F (WFH)

Temporary (6 months - 1 year)

Summary of Position (Job Purpose):

The position is responsible for coordinating the production of marketing events from development to completion. This includes creating events in RETEK, setting up space allocations, preparing PDFs for merchant proofing, and ensuring that all key updates are made to ads. The Specialist will be required to work collaboratively with the pricing, signage, merchant, and ad creative communities to develop and flawlessly execute select promotional events. To be successful in this role, the Specialist needs to be able to efficiently and accurately monitor the progress of marketing events, communicate well, and ensure that the day-to-day production efforts are running on schedule.   

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the event production of all ad events (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) from inception to completion
  • Help support the creative coordination and execution efforts for all localized events to ensure accurate production of all materials
  • Review all ad events for accurate content, spelling and grammar as well as make informed suggestions on layout and item/category adjacencies
  • Partner with all other key internal marketing stakeholders, merchants, signage, promotional planning and store operations teams to ensure all event elements are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support the soft proofing process within the PRO3 and Workfront tools in an effort to help drive compliance throughout the merchant community organization
  • Partner with the pricing team to ensure that all event promotions are accurately uploaded into the Retek platform
  • Any other duties as assigned that provide additional support to the Manager, AD Production in the setup and maintenance of production tasks

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Education: BA or BS with concentration in Marketing required
  • Experience: 2+ years of applicable merchandising and/or marketing experience
  • Job Related Skills: Attention to detail; excellent communication, both verbal and written; ability to manage projects through the life cycle; ability to build and maintain cross functional partnerships; ability to learn and utilize new processes and new technology; strong organizational and priority setting skills, ability to meet deadlines
  • Computer Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • In office 4 days a week (M-Th); 40 work hours per week

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Preferred Computer Skills: Some knowledge of Microsoft Access, Retek, and Workfront a plus
