Position Overview:

The Finance Operations Manager will provide industry specific operational, managerial, and administrative procedures, reporting structures, and operational controls to the company. The Operations Manager will effectively communicate and foster growth among the executive team and all employees. This is a vital leadership role that will drive results and increase the overall efficiency of the company.

Such an individual will need flexibility working in a team-oriented independent RIA firm. Job Functions:

  1. Implement the Management team’s strategies to ensure that the company is run in the most efficient way possible seeking ways to optimize and evolve the team and firm processes
  2. Manage Operations
  3. Develop and manage procedures and training resources
  4. Work closely with team members and provide training and support for processing new accounts, rollovers/transfers, and client service requests
  5. Work with Custodians to monitor, track, and troubleshoot all transfer and rollover activity
  6. Develop, implement, monitor, and coordinate workflows, ensuring that all tasks and responses to client service requests are carried out and completed by deadline and in line with the company policy and procedures
  7. Monitor and manage activities related to the client experience with primary emphasis on the onboarding process
  8. Regularly participate in team meetings, including highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution
  9. Vendor Management
  10. Serve as internal point of contact for assigned software vendors
  11. Coordinate technology set up for new users and work with IT vendors on any issues
  12. Manage CRM and Document Management systems

 

Qualifications: 

  • College degree and 3+ years related industry experience
  • Experience with client relationship management (CRM) software preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
