Administrative Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Administrative Specialist is to provide excellent service and support to the customers.  The Administrative Specialist is responsible for accurately entering quotes and orders, providing current status of orders and answering general questions about the orders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately review new/existing orders prior to entry into the system
  • Follow established guidelines while entering orders and ensures accuracy
  • Effectively communicates with customers and team members, both in verbal and written form with maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude
  • Maintain customer record information
  • Answer phones and emails in a timely manner
  • Work in a team environment across multiple functions (customer service, logistics, and sales) to provide a high quality of service to customers
  • Provide regular updates to Supervisor/Manager as required
  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have experience with accounts payable / invoicing
  • Excellent Data Entry experience/scores
  • 3-5 years customer service experience, with a concentration in data entry
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment where communication is extremely important
  • Must be able to learn new technology
  • Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Should have an ability to work with multiple operating systems
  • Must be dependable and have proven attendance record
