TEMPORARY COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

The communications specialist will monitor day-to-day communications to an internal audience, and will develop content based on business strategies and determine the appropriate channel for messaging. He or she will be a strategic communications consultant to leaders in each line of business to create, implement, innovate and review communications strategies and other internal communication-related projects.

Responsibilities
- Writes and edits employee communications from diverse sources within the organization
- Writes and works with communications manager to produce employee newsletters and online news stories for company intranet
- Works with special teams to create and execute strategic branding and employee engagement campaigns
- Develop strong relationships with key members of the company’s departments to keep abreast of projects, staff and internal events and initiatives and serve as a liaison to identify and address communications-related needs.
- Performs related tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a communications, marketing or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- General knowledge of internal communication
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications; Familiarity with SharePoint required
- Familiarity with short video production and editing a bonus
- Creative, enthusiastic and energetic team player eager to contribute and grow in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple assignments under deadline
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Communications/Marketing
- At least 5 years of experience leading marketing communications strategic efforts
- At least 5 years of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- At least 5 years in oral and written communications
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies to drive organizational change
