Environmental, Health & Safety Support Specialist

Hours:  8:30-5:00 / M-F / Long Term Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Manage reports of safety and health issues from retail stores and distribution centers
• Download and review video footage
• Track, coordinate and follow-up on items & issues identified
• Review information to ensure compliance for OSHA
• Support and collaborate with Store Safety Team to respond to OSHA complaints
• Periodically support other Environmental, Health, and Safety team units with completion of short-term projects
• Input data into regulatory systems (e.g., OSHA, EPA, States)
• Track and assist in managing ongoing development of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and follow up on implementation
• Maintain code changes for assigned store alarm systems
• Monitor alarm reports for exception activity and forward for resolution to the field
• Maintain alarm monitoring systems
• Managing multiple email boxes
• Other administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Some experience with data input into regulatory systems a plus
• Previous retail experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be very organized with strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
• High level of dependability
• Self- starter, with the ability to work alone
• Must understand and be able to maintain confidentiality
