Project Accountant

Hours:  8-5 (hours are flexible) / M-F

Our client is seeking a Project Accountant to join our successful, environmental engineering firm. We are an employee-owned firm with over 1,600 people in over 60 locations across the country and abroad. 

Must have experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry

Duties include:

• Preparing and sending accurate invoices in a timely matter using client-specific formatting
• Coordinating with Project Managers to receive and incorporate their draft invoice comments and reports into final invoices.
• Submitting invoices through client portals
• Coordinating with Subconsultants to ensure their invoices are accurate and meet our clients’ requirements
• Opening and closing projects
• A/R Review and assisting in collection efforts
• Entering and posting sub invoices
• Preparing other reports as necessary

Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has a Business or Accounting degree or similar Accounting experience
• Must have experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
• Has a positive attitude, professional demeanor and appearance
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Is able to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast paced, problem solving and deadline-driven environment
• Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and task oriented
• Is Comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms
• Has Strong computer skills in MS Office and Windows applications
