Job Title: Senior Production Manager 

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite 

Position Overview:

The Senior Production Manager will serve as a key leader in the organization, merging the tactical oversight of project management with a comprehensive approach to team and stakeholder collaboration. This role focuses primarily on managing production workflows, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate excels at uniting stakeholders across departments, holding team members accountable, and streamlining production processes within a fast-paced digital media environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:
  • Develop and oversee detailed production schedules, workbacks, and budgets for all projects, ensuring alignment with deadlines and client expectations.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to achieve efficient project
  • Supervise production timelines and monitor resource utilization, adjusting plans as needed to maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Unite departments, including creative, production, and operations, to achieve a cohesive vision for each project.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, and clients throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular updates with stakeholders, addressing concerns proactively and maintaining alignment on project goals.
  1. Team Leadership and Accountability:
  • Motivate and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and critical milestones are met.
  • Monitor team members' workloads, identifying bottlenecks and implementing workload prioritization strategies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews to ensure accountability and address potential challenges.
  1. Risk Mitigation and Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve potential risks or issues that could impact project
  • Develop proactive strategies to manage scope changes, budget adjustments, or schedule shifts, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Streamline production work flows using tools like com, Google Suite, and other project management software.
  • Apply lean principles to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across production operations.
  • Standardize reporting practices to track project profitability and performance metrics

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing complex production projects within digital media, creative agencies, or similar environments.
  • Background in digital or media production environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Monday.com, and familiarity with film/podcast production processes.
  • Experience in team leadership, including managing workloads, holding team members accountable, and fostering a culture of collaboration while hard-driving
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project management and operational roles, with knowledge of budget management and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with lean management principles to drive continuous process
