Small Parts Assembler
Hours: 9-4 / M-F, with the occasional week with no assembly work available
Job Summary:
The Small Parts Assembler is responsible for assembling small components and parts into finished products according to specifications and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
-Collect required parts, components, and materials for assembly from inventory
-Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to construct and assemble parts
-Connect and fasten parts using techniques such as screwing, gluing, pressing, etc.
-Perform minor adjustments and fit components together precisely
-Conduct visual inspections to ensure proper assembly and quality standards
-Package finished assembled products for shipping or next production stage
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-Follow all safety protocols and procedures
-Record production data such as quantities assembled, times, and any issues
-May assist with inventory management and stocking assembly stations
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Ability to read and follow written and visual instructions
-Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
-Basic math and measurement skills
-Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
-Detail-oriented and focused on quality
-Good physical condition to manipulate small objects repeatedly
-Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
