Administrative Assistant

Full Time | Long Term Temporary (Tax Season)

Monday – Friday, 8-4:30 pm

$18-20/DOE

Chesapeake

 

We are currently assisting a local Tax office in recruiting an Administrative Assistant to help with the current tax season. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast past office and be extremely detail oriented. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Answer phone in a timely and efficient manner
  2. Check voicemail and email appropriate messages to staff members.
  3. Assist with the company calendar and remind/prepare staff members for upcoming meetings.
  4. Assemble tax returns with proper envelopes for mailing and contact client for pickup.
  5. Assist clients with the drop-off and pick-up of their tax returns.
  6. Record all incoming tax returns on our “Incoming Log Sheet.”
  7. Print shipping labels for all outgoing mail and put in the appropriate mailbox.
  8. File paperwork into the appropriate client files.
  9. Keep waiting area welcoming
  10. Stock fax/copy machine with paper
  11. Copy client’s documents as needed/requested.
