Project Manager Assistant
Job Description
Hours: 7:00-4:00 / Temp to Hire
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to several Project Managers in the management of day to day operations for multiple projects
• Prepare Contracts and Change Orders to subcontractors and material suppliers
• Prepare and review all RFIs & RFPs and maintain logs
• Prepare and process submittals
• Prepare Weekly Project Status Reports
• Track, distribute and log all working and shop drawings
• Monitor, track, and maintain all project correspondence, in an orderly fashion
• Review and monitor contract compliance issues (subcontract & change order approval, insurance, W-9’s etc.)
• Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements for Project Manager and Superintendent
• Mange close out of projects
• Analyze all reports, logs and emails to create priorities that prevent delays to critical project activities.
• Prepare project correspondence as directed by Project Manager
• Issue Purchase Orders and maintain log
• Prepare and send out billing
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• 3+ years in the construction field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
o Sage, Bluebeam, MS Project, & MS Visio
• Previous experience in project management or similar role
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities
