Job Description
Temporary 6 Month Opportunity / M-F / 8:40-4:30
Job Duties:
- Responsible for data entry of complex gifts and pledges and assisting with day-to-day operations during busy cycles
- Ensures that all gifts and pledges to the client are processed, receipted, acknowledged in an accurate, timely manner through CRM system
- Ensure accurate data processing, efficient bulk receipting and acknowledgment processes, and timely, high quality customer service for calls or emails to Donor Services. Monitor gift batches prepared by the gift processors using established metrics for accuracy, productivity, timeliness, and customer service
- Works with Donor Services and Donor Relations teams to keep the donor database updated, research and update addresses from returned mail and NCOA, perform duplicate checks and data hygiene tasks and clean-up projects as needed
- Follow gift adjustment procedures and execute gift adjustments as necessary and maintain appropriate documentation in CRM for recordkeeping
- Maintains appeal and fund codes in the CRM to ensure a consistent structure for reporting
- Manage matching gift process by verifying matching/donor advised gifts as necessary.
- Call/send letters to donors regarding checks returned by bank
- Correspondence as required including responding to deceased notification, requested removals, requests for assistance, etc.
- Work collaboratively with client staff in support of client initiatives and priorities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with nonprofit fundraising platforms and CRMs,
- Highly responsible, self-motivated, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage data-oriented processes.
- Ability to perform technical and analytical tasks with Excel and other data tools. Expertise in Microsoft Office suite. Problem-solving, research and analytical skills.
- Works cooperatively and collaboratively, as a positive contributor to the team. Ability to work independently and collegially in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
Education / Experience:
- 2 years successful data entry experience
- Experience managing data-oriented processes
- Experience with adding machines, credits/debits, and numbers a must
